Strawberry-Lavender Spritzer. The name alone conjures up images of juicy red berries, a light floral scent, and an image of an ice cold beverage. Perfect for those hot, summer nights, or those humid days lounging poolside.
Wherever you choose to enjoy it, this drink will not disappoint if you’re looking for a light cool down- no matter the season.
As we continue highlighting recipes using this week’s spotlight vitalilty oil, lavender, lets all just take a short break for a second…. and breathe. Whew. Now let it out, and close your eyes.

Yeah, that’s a strawberry-lavender spritzer. And it’s been a tough week.
Maybe you’re beginning to feel need a “Mommy drink” is in order to properly celebrate having survived this long and not hidden from the kids in the pantry yet. Gosh! we deserve a break! Let’s make a refreshing drink : )
Here’s what you’ll need to follow along:
• 1/4 cup orange juice
• 1 cup fresh strawberries
• 3 drops of lavender oil (found here)
• 3 cups white wine (or one 750 ml bottle)
• 4 cups mineral water
• 4 to 6 fresh lavender sprigs
• 4 to 6 fresh strawberries
4.2. Pour wine over the blended mixture and allow to steep for 30 minutes; then strain into a punch bowl, discarding solids.
3. To serve, fill a wineglass half full with this flavored wine and top with mineral water. Garnish with a sprig of lavender and a strawberry.
